SETTING YOUR OWN COACHING GOALS
One of the most important things about leadership coaching is that it must be entirely client-driven. In the first call of your coaching program, I would encourage you to set the direction by discussing your goals and desired coaching outcomes. Complete open and honest communication is a must!
COMING TO EACH SESSION WITH A TOPIC
You choose the topics for discussion. You could use sessions to explore solutions to pressing issues and identify new opportunities. Conversations you have with coaches are strictly confidential, which provides a lot of freedom when it comes to choice of topic.
MAKING YOUR OWN DECISIONS
You make all the decisions about how to move forward. Mentors and coaches shouldn’t be calling the shots.
ENGAGING IN THE PROCESS
Coaching is entirely client-focused. When you 'put more on the table’, it gives you and your coach more information to work with and creates more opportunities for reflection and improvement.
FOLLOWING THROUGH ON ACTION ITEMS
Most mentors and coaches will work with you to establish action items at the end of each session. These action items are intended to help you try new things, develop new perspectives, and break through barriers in your professional development.
It has been a pleasure to work with Christine Cuthbert these past few months. The social restrictions of COVID-19 impacted my business as event caricaturist and I have a studio side that I was fortunate to have Christine to work on marketing and approaches with. She got to the bottom of the different options I have to pivot the different services I can offer. She isn't afraid to challenge my views on what has worked and what hasn't. Christine provided a fresh outlook and approach to the markets available that I hadn't thought of, which inspired me to look down even further avenues and I would recommend her to anyone looking for fresh eyes and ideas.
I highly recommend Christine. I started a new business this year and I am so grateful to have Christine's help building a team, and empowering staff so that our business will grow. As many business owners know, staff is your biggest asset and Christine can definitely help! Looking forward to the next steps working with Christine to keep reaching our business goals.
I'm finally producing my holistic Kneipp wraps and introducing people to some very basic things that they can do on a daily basis. I have much bigger dreams and plans but this is an amazing beginning and I am very excited to actually be stepping into having a small hobby business of my own that Christine has help me with. Having her encouragement and professional experience to build a business, it's been amazing so I'm very excited. I've wanted this for almost 20 years and she got me up and running in 6 short weeks.
Between COVID-19 and the decimation of my industry, I was having a lot of anxiety. Christine showed me how to put that uncertainty in a box and move on. She coached me to find the positive and use that to grow a new business model and revenue stream that aligns with my personal values and goals. It's helped me to move forward and I'm a better and happier person this year because of it. Thanks Christine for helping me find my new mindset!
I have had the pleasure of working with Christine on the building and management of an extraordinary team.
Christine was instrumental in taking a group of talented and productive workers from varied areas of our operation and helping build them into a well functioning team with one common set of core values and goals.
Christine’s ability to establish a good relationship with each team member and build on the individual and collective goals earned her the respect of the whole team. The ability to see the big picture while addressing all the smaller moving parts allowed Christine to effectively empower everyone to be their absolute best. Christine was able to take a group of individuals and build them into a very productive, fulfilled well functioning team that became like family.
I would highly recommend this talented woman to help with your business.
